Southern Goth in a Northern Town-November 2021: Sick

Going to be a short one this month because I’ve spent the last 10 days or so being ill. I”m at least 75% convinced that I somehow caught the Ann Arbor Flu because well, I catch stuff like that. If it’s respiratory, I’m probably going to get it.

As bad as I felt, I cannot imagine how much worse it would have been if I hadn’t had my flu shot.

That said, I am pulling out of it, but my brain is mush. I have no idea what I meant to write for the November Southern Goth blog. Any ideas I had got burned up in a haze of sleeping and snorting and coughing and blowing my nose until it is raw. (And scaly. It’s gross. And sore.)

Also, the holidays are coming up this week – Wolfenoot and Thanksgiving – so we’ll be celebrating His Dogness and Their Catnesses with many treats. I’m looking forward to the time off work. We are planning to put up the Xmas decorations, hide inside on Black Friday, and try to relax and recuperate.

Here’s wishing everyone that celebrates the happiest of holidays and hopefully I’ll be back on track for December.
